The standards you can expect from us:

  • When you telephone us we will:
    • Answer your call promptly
    • Introduce ourselves
    • Deal with your query or find the right person
    • Ring you back if necessary
  • When you write to us we will:
    • Respond to your letter
    • Use plain language and no jargon
    • Include the writer's full contact details
    • Reply using the language you used
  • When you visit us we will:
    • Treat you courteously
    • Dress smartly and wear a name badge
    • Give you a private interview if you want
    • Arrange to visit you in your own home if you can't visit us
  • When we visit you we will:
    • Make an appointment
    • Show you an identity card
    • Respect your home
    • Leave a calling card
